Nowadays, our smartphones run our lives, well, they shouldn’t but they as certainly smart enough to do nearly everything for you! If you are like me and need a solid, fast, reliable and a good battery….this is definitely the best mid-range smartphone for you too. I love it. You can check out the POCO X4 Pro 5G here on eBay . Best Features; Great battery life (5000mAh), normally 2 days with medium usage. I’m quite a heavy user of my phone so its a great piece of kit to have loads of power for at least 1.5 days without the need for charging to cross my mind. The 67W turbo charger is capable of charging from 0% to 100% in 41 minutes! WOW. Be careful though as the device and plug can get pretty hot. Guys STOP USING SHAMPOO! Seriously, you’ll thank me for saying it - JB’s easiest hack yet! This myth has been personally tried, tested and recommended. I saw some posts earlier in the year where people posted some hair hacks - simply stop using shampoo for better hair. Well, my curiosity lead me to try it and I too, see why its such a simple hack. Have you ever wondered about all those chemicals in shampoo?!? Well, virtually none of the ingredients are organic and do you really need shampoo in the first place. After all, shampoo is a modern invention and before then, they only had water. Putting this simple hack to the test, I stopped using shampoo (sorry the Head & Shoulders had to go) back in March 2022. Using just cool water to wash hair is the best thing you can do for your hair. This allows the natural hair oils to replenish and allow your body to look after itself. Yes the few few days my hair felt a little greasy but after a week, my hair felt much better than ever.

Cheaper hair cuts using home hair clippers - JB’s power hack! I love to have my hair cut, and the more it recedes, the more often I need to keep it trimmed (also reduces the white coverage as well!). Having been using hair trimmer for many years, about 20 years at the last count, these cordless, easy to adjust cutting length trimmers from Philips is by far the easiest. Bearing In mind, I usually do this myself so having the longer guide blade is a bonus when you are doing most of the cutting by feel. This is the Philips 1-click adjustable cordless hair trimmer (this is the older model and the new one is the PHILIPS QC5370 ) It’s a great trimmer and now it’s about 6 years old and still working perfectly. The blade guide ranges from 1mm to 23mm (thats about grade 0 to 8, or 1 inch length). Super easy to slide the length adjuster as you need it for grading. Personally I use 9 on top, 6 on side tops and 3 for around the side trim. It also gets well used as I trim my hair about eve

Making a cuppa for less - this energy saving kettle will save 1/3 each time! With energy prices ever increasing, we all need to reduce our energy usage around the home. But life is not complete without a nice cuppa, so swapping a standard electric kettle for a low energy one is definitely the way forward. This is the Cecotec Thermosense 120 . Most people don’t realise that standard kettles have a huge power consumption, generally around 2500W to 3000W. Thats a lot of power used for a single boil of the kettle. Of course there are other factors, like, depending on how much hot water you need and the time it takes. I love my little kettle! It still has a generous size to boil in a full load at 1.0litres. Mostly, for one cuppa, I use it on the minimum level at 0.3litres which is perfect for my large mugs of coffee. A full kettle is still enough for 3 or 4 standard mugs at one time. With a power consumption of just 900W to 1100W, that is between 1/2 and 1/3 less power than a stan
